Coffee in the Garden of Cal Hort member Gerhard Bock, the author of the Succulents and More garden blog.  Once again we are timing our visit to Gerhard’s garden to coincide with a plant sale at the UC Davis Arboretum.  This, the last plant sale of the spring, will begin at 9 a.m.  So the plan will be to start there and then head to Gerhard’s garden for coffee at 10:30 a.m.  Our final stop will be to a nursery in Vacaville on our way back to the bay area.  I’m looking forward to finally getting there as I’ve heard a number of plant people talk glowingly of both the nursery and its gardens at Morningsun Herb Farm.

Please bring a savory or sweet snack if you can to share when we get to Gerhard’s garden.  I’ll be sure to leave the arboretum sale in time to have the coffee ready and water heating for tea at Gerhard’s.

I’m happy to say participation for this event will not be capped.  So by all means bring along your gardening friends but don’t forget to tell me how many when you RSVP so that we don’t run short on coffee!
