Sunday, June 23, at 9:00 a.m., Coffee in the Garden in Lafayette with a bonus garden in Concord
For this event, we’re hosting the coffee at a friend’s very large hilltop garden in Lafayette. Images of this garden can be seen on this flickr set. Then we’ll make the Concord garden of member Brian Pyle the bonus visit. Some views of Brian’s water-wise garden can be seen on this flickr set.
We’ll have the coffee and hot water ready for tea at 9 a.m. in Lafayette. Please bring a little of something savory or sweet to share if you can. Our Lafayette host has lots of private parking and will make bathrooms available.
Attendance to this event is not capped. Our host at the Lafayette garden first offered to host an event for us when she attended our March garden visit as a guest. Bringing along our gardening friends is a great way to build our group and connect to the wider horticultural community. You never know where it may take us next.
